As is tradition at Box Elder High School, the December selections for Student of the Month awards are those students who will represent the school as Sterling Scholars. Students completed portfolios of their accomplishments and qualifications that were evaluated by Sterling Scholar committees comprised of school faculty and administration. Students were judged based on the following criteria: scholarship, category scholarship, leadership, and community service/citizenship. Students presented their portfolios to committees.
