Box State Footy Podcast: USLPA Executive Director - Connor Tobin

On this episode of the Box State Footy Podcast, we speak with Executive Director of the USL Players Association: Connor Tobin.The collective bargaining agreement between the USL and the Players Association expired December, 31st 2025. As players report for training across the league, there's still a lot of negotiating to be done as it relates to fair working conditions and professional standards. USL has their eyes on an expansive Promotion/Relegation system sure to shake the foundation of American soccer but the players aren't seeing much of that expansiveness and areBorn in Fort Collins, Tobin's current role as Executive Director is heavily informed by his prior playing days. The retired defender had to wear two hats; collectively organizing players across various locker rooms and also then trying to win on the pitch.
