‘Boxed Up Project’ With Founder, Milan Coraggio-Sewell

On this episode of The Power of Love Show we welcome special guest, Milan Coraggio-Sewell. Milan is an 18-year-old recent high school graduate who will be attending UPenn in the fall. Milan is also the founder of ‘Boxed Up Project’ — a youth-led nonprofit organization that creates grief boxes for kids and teens struggling with grief and loss. These boxes are donated to partner organizations and underserved communities throughout Arizona and across the country. Each box contains carefully selected items picked in partnership with accredited grief experts for two separate age groups: 5-12 and 13-17. Milan launched this organization after struggling with her own unresolved grief due to the loss of her best friend and grandparents at a young age. Milan always wished she had someone to talk to and help her work through her emotions during that difficult time in her life and that wish is what fueled the idea for launching ‘Boxed Up Project’. She wanted to create a space where kids can express their feelings and learn to heal; a space to show them that they are not alone.
