BP Settlement and the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee

In March of 2012, BP Oil reached a proposed class action settlement with the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee which BP has valued at about $7.8 billion. The court will consider final approval of the settlement at a Fairness Hearing scheduled for November 8, 2012.
