Brad Adams Steps Down After 19 Years

Brad Adams, Villanova’s beloved men’s tennis coach for nearly two decades, is stepping down after a legendary 19-year run — during which he led the Wildcats to 17 Big East Tournament appearances, 5 All-Big East honors, and 13 weekly awards, while also earning ITA All-Academic Team recognition for four straight seasons. A former player himself who graduated in 2003, Adams called Villanova “a huge part of my life,” and the athletic director praised his integrity and impact on player development. The program is now launching a nationwide search for his successor, marking the end of an era for a coach deeply woven into the university’s tennis legacy.
