Infometrics Principal Economist, Brad Olsen, says our income to housing affordability ratio is far worse than other countries. He told Mike Hosking while our housing market might provide an indication as to how interest rates cause house prices to move, we're different. Olsen says the way our taxes are structured, and the fact we invest more in property than the stock market means we need to be careful when making comparisons.
