There’s been just a plethora of things to talk about since we’ve last seen you! So this one is a little big of a longer episode! Craig Choate and Logan Lee breakdown the first weekend of the NCAA tournament! Illinois is out after falling in the Round of 32, six of the top 16 seed got bounced before the Sweet 16, and we’ve got another 15-seed in the Sweet 16. How are the guys brackets looking? We go over that and make changes to our Final Four. The college basketball coaching carousel has been spinning for a couple weeks. Who ended up where and what do our hosts think of some of the hires? Jerome Tang, not Brad Underwood, takes over Kansas State. Louisville gets their man in Kenny Payne. Kevin Williams jumps from the Big East to the Big Ten. Six new coaches in the SEC including Chris Jans, Dennis Gates, Matt McMahon, and Todd Golden. Plus Mike White switches SEC schools. Illinois women’s basketball has their new head coach as Shauna Green takes over for Nancy Fahey. Green comes from Dayton where she spent 6 seasons and took the Flyers to 4 NCAA tournaments. Chris Tamas also received a 5 year extension for Illinois volleyball. Illini football got a big boost with Kaden Feagin committed to Illinois on Wednesday. Feagin is a running back and linebacker at Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond High School, only a short drive from Champaign. He’s a top-250 recruit in the class of 2023 and the first commit for Illinois in that class. Craig and Logan talk about what his decision means and how impressed they are with Bret Bielema’s recruiting efforts so far. The NFL and the MLB have been bonkers over the last week with trades and free agent signings. The guys break down the NFL moves of Deshaun Watson, Davante Adams, and Tyreek Hill.
