He received bachelor's and master's degrees from South Dakota State University. He returned to SDSU to serve as a swine extension specialist, teacher, and in administrative roles. Bob is a staunch supporter of the Land Grant University mission. His passion is to provide practical solutions for producers and in mentoring students. He has served in leadership capacities for the American Society of Animal Science and the National Pork Board.
