Any type of abnormal brain function is a brain injury. PTSD, multiple sclerosis, hydrocephalus, strokes, tumors, anoxia, neuromuscular disorders such as transverse myelitis, Guillain-Barre Syndrome or related neurologic conditions are all types of brain injuries of different kinds, along with traumatic brain injuries. We need to educate the public, doctors, familes and survivors what these disabilites are.
