What could be more exciting than human mate-seeking behaviour? I recently read a lengthy paper by psychologist Rob Henderson. He looked at the effects of different contexts on the behaviour of the sexes when looking for a partner. We like to assume that our behaviour is guided primarily by our inner standards. It is fascinating to understand how strongly our environment, our contexts influence our behaviour. And the dating game is no different.
