Bram Martin’s Band on RRR Show #1197 25 June 2023

from Rapidly Rotating Records · host Glenn Robison

Bram Martin Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s. Do you know who this fellow is? You should, since he signed his name right on the photograph. He’s British bandleader Bram Martin and he’s getting his own birthday segment for the first time on this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records. In other segments, we’ll take a dip and hear some songs about alces alces (moose!) We’ll also “Keep On Keepin’ On” and have a couple of random rapidly rotating records. There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era.
