Brand New Bowhunter

On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan is joined by brand new bowhunter John Engstorm to talk about his first season as a bowhunter. John didn't get started hunting until his early 20's with a couple short hunting trips to Pennsylvania with his dad to rifle hunt. Then, after a move to Nebraska, he met up with a group of guys who were all bowhunters and talked him in to picking up a bow. After a couple months of practice and an exploding bow that led him to getting new archery tackle, he hit the woods for the first time as a bow hunter. With multiple scouting missions and trail camera data under his belt, he connected on a small doe on opening day.
