What exactly is a brand anyway? Most new organizations (or even existing ones) think it’s a logo. Maybe some stationary. A website perhaps? But as it turns out those are just the trappings of a brand. The interpretation a graphic design puts on your brand. (Who knew, right?) Your real brand is the personality of your business. And that’s something that Barbara Carneiro is excellent at helping people define.  I took over a PAGE of notes during our conversation because I couldn’t wait to put her advice into action. She looks at branding through a whole different lens.  Could be because she’s lived all over the world. Or maybe because she owned a dance academy, taught cooking classes, sold wedding dresses and even taught Portuguese before making her home in marketing 22 years ago.  In this episode she’s going to walk us through her branding framework including: Her defining question, “Who Do You Serve Well Today?” and how its answer can shape the first steps you’ll take towards developing your brand.
