Khaki-clad infants get electrocuted. Nature is labeled “gratuitous.” And hypnopædia, sleep learning, is born after a child accidentally memorizes something. Jennifer tries to make sense of caste systems and clone hierarchies while Dan compares everything to sourdough starters and American Eagle jeans. It’s dystopia at its most absurd—and somehow, still a little too familiar.
