Braves Add Lane Thomas for Lefty Power | Kansas City Royals News

The Braves just pulled off a savvy trade, bringing in power-hitting outfielder Lane Thomas and lefty pitcher Bailey Falter from the Royals. In return, they sent minor leaguers Lucas Braun and Carter Holton down to Kansas City. Thomas, known for crushing left-handed pitching, is set to slide into left field alongside Mike Yastrzemski — not as a full-time starter, but as a key bat when it matters most. With a solid 2023 season under his belt (28 homers, 86 RBIs), he’s primed to make an immediate impact, especially as Atlanta faces Miami. Meanwhile, Falter heads to Triple-A Gwinnett to gain more experience, while the Braves’ young arms continue their development. This move adds firepower and depth — and signals a smart, strategic push toward playoff contention. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
