Brazen - Episode 010
from The Armory Podcast · host DJ Zach Moore
This week in The Armory we're pleased to bring you this tasty, exclusive mixset from Miami legend, Brazen! Boom this podcast loud in your ride or from your light cycle! On the music front, Dj/Producer/Director Brazen from Miami, Fla., is revered as a ballsy destroyer of dance floors & the Executive Producer of “Bring On The Beats” - a people's favorite event and dance music brand born from WMC a decade ago. On "The Armory," Brazen has gone on the offensive, spraying a shower of bass in a badass, epic mix of stellar jams from his personal stockpile. Brazen has unleashed over 75 blistering minutes of “Sun Drenched, Bass Driven Ammo” for his first guest mix for the Armory. In the spirit of the Armory’s 80’s arcade machine concept, Brazen has loaded this podcast full of upcoming original releases, re-mixes, VIP bootlegs, exclusive tracks by him as well as genre heavies and operatives of Brazen’s new label Ballistic Music. Level up with 8-bit videogame touches on a first person, shooter style “hero’s venture" into a world of digitized 808 bass that culminates by offering an experience of meeting a boss in a video game. “I was definitely a bit of a 'vidiot' back in the day," says Brazen. "As a kid I embezzled my paper route money so I could fund my sessions on classic games like Ms. Pac man, Tempest, Defender, Galaga, Spyhunter and Missile Command. Inspired by my youthful video game obsession, I had fun creating a Tron-esque party vibe for the podcast. "I really enjoyed the Mafia Kiss mix," Brazen continues. They played up on the theme and really set a high bar for The Armory. I’m honored Zach reached out to give me a chance to put my spin on the series."
