from DJ Nocturna Presents Queen of Wands · host DJ Nocturna

Brazilian singer, songwriter, actress and visual artist, Cinthya Hussey was inspired to play the ukulele by Hawaii's Na Hoku Hanohano awards artist, musician, Paula Fuga when she watched her inspirational speech on TEDxMaui conference "Believe in Yourself," in 2012.  Paula Fuga's 'Misery's End' was the first song Cinthya learned to play on the Ukulele. Not long after that, her husband, Mission's frontman and guitarist, Wayne Hussey bought her a ukulele for a wedding anniversary present. Since then, Cinthya released her first single and official video, a cover of Morrissey's  "Everyday is Like Sunday," produced by Wayne Hussey.  Cinthya has also recently contributed vocals to a couple of remixes of the Beauty In Chaos anthem, "The Delicate Balance Of All Things," the "Rapid Reiteration Mix," remixed by renowned music producer Tim Palmer and the Equipoise Mix, mixed by the curator of Beauty in Chaos, Michael Ciravolo and Grammy Award winning producer Michael Rozon.  Cinthya's paintings were also used as artwork for the albums "Out of Chaos Comes" and "Chaos Continues. "Cinthya's new single was released on December 11, 2020 called "My Heart is a Ghosttown." Produced by Wayne Hussey, the song is like a vision of "50s/60s pop meets the Cocteau Twins meets David Lynch."  This is  her first song that she wrote, originally a poem, which will be included on her debut solo album planned for release in 2021. www.cinthyahussey.com
