Brazil is larger than the contiguous United States by approximately 300,000 square miles, and so much of it is unexplored with vast rainforests, mountain ranges, and plains with dense undergrowth, and is the largest country in Central and South America. With a population of 212 million spread out through the diverse land areas, there are many reports, tales, and lore regarding certain regions that have a long history of UFO sightings and close encounters with non-human entities. Some of the UFO sightings have been very benign, while others not so much, and involving physical harms such as burns and puncture wounds, to radiation sickness, and even death - as well as abductions and disappearances. UFO crashes have also occurred in Brazil along with sightings of the occupants being witnessed on many occasions by civilian, military, and judicial authorities.
