Show 2023-016 Thursday 14/9/23 10pm GMT 🎶🎶🎶 I’m joined this edition in the @phevertvradio studio with @danu__dj for a Jungle selection 🔥🔥🔥 D’anu is a multi-genre DJ from Galway with a love of jungle, breakbeats, footwork and bass. She started mixing records during lockdown and played her first DJ sets last year at Galway’s Community Skratch Games and Cork’s Evolution DnB night (on two occasions), supporting junglists Tamen and San. She has since played twice at Electric Picnic - last year at Trenchtown’s Revelation Soundsystem and this year at the new Croí Main Stage, where she played several vinyl sets over the weekend. 2023 has been a busy year so far and D’anu has played at events including Cork’s Dose night as guest DJ, Galway’s Téigh Síos and FYE nights, Jus Me’s Brú night (Cork) and a Fundraiser for Women’s Aid in Dublin. Last month she headlined the sold-out Galway Pride Gig at Áras na nGael and played at All Together Now Festival 2023.
