Breakfast for the Broken

The community of Jesus followers were a small group of broken people. Jesus had been taken to be put to death. Peter had denied Him, and His other followers had abandoned Him. However, after Jesus was resurrected, He sent word by the women who first went to His tomb that the disciples would see Him in Galilee (Mt. 28:10). Jesus was gently bringing restoration to this small group as a whole, and to the individuals within it.
