Breakfast talks: Nigel Berman - founder of Nigel's Eco Store

from The Brighton Chamber Podcast · host Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce

Nigel Berman was one of Brighton and Hove's early green business pioneers and runs Nigel's Eco Store, an online retailer of environmentally-friendly products. After training as a chartered accountant and spending several years as a freelance writer, his discovery of ‘eco products’ in 2005 inspired him to set up Nigel's Eco Store in his free time. A year later he left publishing to pursue these greener pastures full time. Nigel's Eco Store recently acquired online ‘eco homeware’ retailer EcoCentric and now employs a team of six in its Hove offices. At this breakfast, Nigel talks about how he turned an idea into a thriving business that has continued to evolve and grow.
