Breaking Bread #5 - Enacting Salvation

At Jesus’ final Passover meal, bread and wine carry a story of rescue from slavery into the promise of His saving death. The Lord’s Supper looks back to the cross and ahead to the feast Jesus will share in God’s kingdom. It does more than refresh the mind. Sharing one meal joins believers as a reconciled community.
