Breaking Down the Role of Ego as a Leader with Martin Pemberton
from Everyday Leadership · host Sope Agbelusi
"Labels put limits on people, it's about fixing your mindset..and realising that I will be anything that I need to be based on that present moment" - Martin Pemberton When we attach what we are good at with "who we are" and this stops happening, it can seem like your world has crumbled to pieces. The ego loves labels, it doesn't show gratitude, it makes you think you are better (or less) than someone, it pushes you into spaces that you may not desire. But it is becoming more important to not only have self-awareness but awareness of self in our lives.
