🚨💣 BREAKING NEWS: FC Barcelona Confirms The NEW Captains For The First Team🧨

Barcelona’s new captaincy hierarchy for the 2026/27 season has been leaked, with Raphinha set to become the club’s first captain, followed by Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Gavi, and Eric García. This reshuffle comes after the departures of Marc-André ter Stegen and Ronald Araújo, who previously held key leadership roles, forcing Hansi Flick to rebuild the dressing-room leadership group. This video breaks down why Raphinha has been chosen as the new number one captain, what each player brings to the leadership team, and how the new order reflects Barcelona’s changing identity under Flick. It also examines the surprise inclusion of Eric García and Gavi in the top five, the roles of Pedri and de Jong, and what this younger, more diverse captaincy group could mean for the club’s future both on and off the pitch.
