According to reports from Pete Nakos and Matt Zenitz, former Georgia safety JaCorey Thomas is pursuing another season of college eligibility, has entered the transfer portal, and West Virginia has emerged as his expected landing spot. Thomas started eight games for Georgia in 2025, recorded 45 tackles and a sack, and later participated in rookie minicamp with the Carolina Panthers. Now, Rich Rodriguez and WVU could potentially add that SEC and NFL-level experience after the season has already arrived.
