Breakthrough blood test predicts Alzheimer's years early

A breakthrough blood test that can predict Alzheimer's disease years before symptoms appear is now available in Sydney. The test detects tau and amyloid protein abnormalities in the blood with over 90% accuracy, matching the gold standard of PET scans and lumbar punctures.
