Breakthrough Starts With Us

By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.Acts 3:16This week we will be looking at the word that Pastor Louis shared on Sunday titled ‘Breakthrough Starts with Us.Firstly, we need to understand that it is incredibly important for us to take responsibility for our relationship with God. To meet with Him and spend time with Him. We also need to make sure that we don’t just listen to worship songs or read books about the bible, but actually worship Him and read His word. It is so easy to get caught up in Christian things and lose sight of Christ. God is saying he wants our worship.Secondly, God doesn’t just want to see breakthrough on a large scale; He wants to see breakthrough in our lives. God wants to bring freedom in our hearts so that we can carry that into the world and see breakthrough in the situations and circumstances that we are facing.Finally, we need to share our faith and hope with the world. We are the carriers of hope that God has sent to those who have no hope and so we must share it with them. We also need to be aware that when people experience breakthrough, it comes through the name of Jesus, by faith in His name and with faith that comes from Jesus. We need to point those people to Jesus when they see us as their saviours because even though we might be involved in their breakthrough, it is all through Jesus.Are your worship and quiet times in a good place?
