Breathing into our cells, blooming into ourselves with Jen Liss

from Bloom with a Boom! Grounded by daily practice. · host Rebecca Schlosser

Have you noticed that your breath is the most powerful tool in your toolbox? For real - totally partial opinion over here.  I’m SO friggin thrilled to welcome Jen Liss as our last guest of 2023!  Jen has some potent medicine to help us tap into our inner brilliance during this time of renewal.  She’s a trauma informed breathwork facilitator, speaker, coach and host of the podcast “Untethered with Jen.”  She’s one of my podcast mentors, and a motivating force behind the creation of this show. Breathwork sounds like a holistic word - but it’s our lifeline, the only thing we do both voluntarily and involuntarily as a way to maintain life.  It also helps us tune into our body and inner voice, and has a spectacular reputation of allowing us to calm down and shift our energy.  If there is one thing you need in life, it’s breath.  If there’s one tool you could take away from a personal wellness podcast, it’s a reminder to breathe.   This is the conversation you’ll want to listen to before your NYE celebration, and we start off with a very powerful (and unplanned) breathing exercise that had me feeling extra calm, energized and focused throughout the session.   We continue to explore Jen’s intuition led journey as an entrepreneur, corporate executive and then an entrepreneur once again, this time on a deep soulful journey to help people tap in and shine out - literally - through breathwork and coaching.   My favorite takeaways:  Breathwork offers relief, clarity  and energy into our bodies and minds, and many other benefits as mentioned above.  Our other pathways become more clear (the creative project, the mindset work, the ground floor of the business) when we breathe, because breathing helps us make sound, centered decisions.  We bloom throughout our lives - always give credit to your accumulated wisdom, even while focusing on the journey ahead. When we follow the breadcrumbs of curiosity and desire - saying yes to things that resonate, and sometimes taking chances - amazing things happen.  The universe rewards our bravery! Jen has some healing free content (and heartfelt shares) on her IG account, as well as more info about her breathwork offerings: https://www.instagram.com/untetheredjen Book recommendation: Breathe, James Nestor.
