Brees Back for Broncos? Tampering Talks | Denver Broncos News

Rumors swirl that Drew Brees might’ve been eyed by the Denver Broncos to fill in for injured QB Bo Nix, sparking wild speculation about a Super Bowl champ making a comeback. But with Brees openly admitting his arm’s not what it used to be—and recent throwing sessions with his son confirming serious shoulder and wrist issues—the physical reality makes it unlikely. The situation also raises tampering questions, as Brees or coach Sean Payton may have explored releasing him from the Saints, though Payton claims he was kept in the dark. The NFL has history of cracking down on such moves, leaving fans wondering if this was a real plan—or just fantasy fuel for the playoff race.
