Based in Mumbai, he began drumming at 16 and later trained at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Over his career, Jai has performed and recorded with top Indian artists including Amit Trivedi and Sunidhi Chauhan, and has been part of acclaimed rock and metal bands such as Indus Creed  and Blackstrat Blues.A dynamic live and session musician, Jai’s credits span Bollywood soundtracks (Rock On 2, Dear Zindagi, Secret Superstar, Tiger Zinda Hai) and major festivals worldwide. He is endorsed by Pearl Drums, Meinl Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, and Vic Firth, and continues to inspire the next generation through workshops and drum education.
