Brian interviews Dr. Laine Halpern Zisman. Dr. Zisman is a certified fertility support practitioner and full spectrum doula helping people navigate all stages of their perinatal journeys. Currently, as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria in the School of Public Health and Social Policy, she works on community-engaged projects related to reproductive health equity and access. She lectures at the U of T and have taught at various universities across Canada in the humanities and public health. Her eclectic background in research and community support has provided her with unique tools for exploring sexual and reproductive health equity, 2SLGBTQ+ culture, and barriers to accessing reproductive care in Canada. She talks about her latest book "Conceivable: A Guide to Making 2SLGBTQ+ Family".
