from ROCK MORNINGS · host Brian Simpson

Rain today…80's tomorrow & Wednesday. Lots going on this week with a golf outing on Friday & a concert on Saturday. Plus, Rock Stops all week, and the Big River Rally right around the corner. In the news this morning, the latest on the riots/protests in Los Angeles, the zebra on the loose in Tennessee has been captured, the otter that escaped a zoo in Wisconsin is going to live in the wild from now on, a trial is set to begin in La Crosse for a homicide that happened six years ago, and a sex offender from Iowa is on the loose and may be in Wiscsonsin. In sports, the Brewers struggled against the Padres this weekend, the Thunder evened up the NBA finals with a win last night, the NHL Final also knotted-up at 1-1 thanks to Brad Marchand's double OT goal on Friday & continue tonight, Denny Hamlin won at Michigan yesterday, and Sovereignty won the Belmont Stakes this weekend. Elsewhere in sports, Corbin Burnes is getting Tommy John surgery, the Capitals coach gets the "Coach of the Year" award, while the Dallas Stars fired their head coach. We talked about what's on TV today and discussed a "Karen" who doesn't think people should be allowed to watch a movie by themselves. Cool story about a very determined & hard-working 12 year-old who trained a therapy dog. How many different sauces do you think you have in your fridge? And how many states have you visited?? A new survey finds out that 5% of Americans have never left their home state. Plus, a possible "cure" for migraine headaches that involves McDonald's. An in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", an idiot who called the cops on himself after trying to pay for an avocado, a guy who called in a bomb threat to an airport because he was running late & was going to miss his flight, a possible good side-effect of taking Ozempic, a Bigfoot sighting that might lead to some cheaper weed, a couple who had a medical emergency in a Starbucks, and bounce house that flew away with a couple of kids stuck inside.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
