Send us Fan MailHello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Brian Gilgeous as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. Brian is the creator of the YouTube channel EV OG. Although Brian and his family have long owned a string of EV’s, he just joined the Lucid family by acquiring a Fathom Blue Platinum Air Touring—the exact same car that I acquired at about the same time. So, I feel good about Brian form the jump! Brian says, “I'm BrianG and I've been driving an EV since Valentine’s Day 2013 when we took delivery of "Chocolate Rain", our brown 2013 Tesla Model S 60 with rear facing seats. Since then, we've owned 10 EV's in 12+ years. At the end of May 2025, we took delivery of EV #10, "Dragonfly,”, 2025 Lucid Air Touring in Fathom Blue to replace “Storm,” our pre-owned 2018 Tesla Model S 100D. Just prior to that, we sold "Ironheart," a 2023 Volvo XC40 Recharge to Carvana for almost $10K more than we paid for it a year prior, to replace "Mystique," our Mariana [metallic blue] 2023 Fisker Ocean One.
