Brian Ray: National Homeschool Research Institute - The beginnings

Brian Ray, Ph.D. shares how he decided to found the National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI).He is the founding president of the non-profit NHERI (National Home Education Research Institute)​ in Oregon, U.S.A.He is internationally known for his research on homeschooling. Brian has been investigating the homeschool movement for over 30 years. He holds a Ph.D. in science education from the Oregon State University, an MS in zoology from Ohio University, and a BS in Biology from the University of Puget Sound. Brian is a former professor of science and education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, a former classroom teacher in both public and private schools, and he has taught homeschool students.
