Brian Reed: Startup Companies & Big Data

This week on Beyond Clean we speak with Brian Reed, Co Founder and CEO at Ascendco Health on the topic of startup companies and "Big Data" in Sterile Processing.  Brian discussed the realities of beginning a startup such as the importance of listening to customers, being honest with yourself, facing humiliation, and finding a partner with complimentary skills who both respects and appreciates your differing talents.  Other topics included opportunities for improvement, such as merging disparate systems supporting various departments to achieve improved efficiency.  Brian also astutely noted that while data can provide clarity it still requires informed people to solve problems.
