We're excited to have Julie Dalton as a guest on The SunnySide Up podcast. With over 20 years of experience strategically leading and developing people across varied sectors, geographies, and culture frameworks, Julie offers a unique perspective and approach to high-impact Executive and Results Coaching. Equally people-focused and business-minded, Julie successfully balances both individual and corporate objectives to deliver measurable results. She specializes in elevating performance by broadening perspectives and increasing clarity while identifying and modifying success-impacting behaviors and limiting beliefs. She effectively bridges the gap between performance theory and achievement, thus empowering clients to accomplish and sustain previously unattainable outcomes. As a lifelong student of human behavior and performance optimization, Julie received her BA from Texas A&M University, majoring in communication with a minor in psychology. She later received a master's degree in behavioral science, specializing in industrial and organizational psychology, at the University of Houston Clear Lake. Julie's philosophy of positive behavioral change is grounded in the work of Dr. Carol Dweck and growth mindset. Utilizing a "build vs. break" approach, Julie leverages executive, team, and organizational strengths in order to quickly deliver significant results. Julie is an authentic and engaging leader who naturally connects with people both 1:1 and in larger forums. She is an accomplished speaker, most notably invited to speak at the Society for Human Resources national conference in 2021, where her session was selected to livestream to over 12,000 attendees. Working as a coach throughout her career, Julie also led multiple large-scale transformation projects for non-profit, private, and public companies. These include leading multiple strategy sessions to redefine a multi-year, organization-wide vision (non-profit) as well as the design and implementation of social justice, meaningful belonging, and truly impactful leadership and development programs. With a keen focus on delivering desired results and culture-focused objectives, Julie led Human Resources for sixteen years at corporate immigration firm Berry Appleman & Leiden and at tech company BindView (Symantec). Throughout that time, she coached executives and high-potentials to identify blind spots and problematic thought patterns and then to develop successful strategies to create measurable change. She also gained additional experience working in HR at both British Petroleum and Baker Hughes Incorporated. Make sure to take a listen and let us know your thoughts! Like. comment. Subscribe.
