You asked for it so we’re doing it! This week and for the next few weeks to come, we have tightened our corsets, laced our bodices and stepped into the world of Bridgerton. The story starts with women being paraded around like cattle at auction. Gross. Mary Poppins herself, Miss Julie Andrews, tells us to cheer for pretty, blonde, chaste, and desperate-to-marry Daphne. But we’re here for her straight-shooting, far more interesting sister, Eloise, and their sweet neighbor, Penelope. The story is complicated, everyone looks alike and has a super long, British name.
