In a complete reversal from our usual pattern, this week we read a book that ALICIA has read before, but Emilie has not! An imperfect heroine surrounded by likewise imperfect (but endearing) characters, Bridget Jones is indisputably a cultural icon and the book made a lot of waves when it was published.
