Dr. Harris is a distinguished Professor at the University of Colorado Denver with a dual appointment in the School of Education and Human Development and the Department of Pediatrics (Developmental Pediatrics). She is also the director and founder of the bilingual school psychology program at the university and a bilingual (Spanish) licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist.  In this episode, we will be discussing the health disparities in autism identification and the importance of culturally responsive assessment and intervention practices.
