Brief: Golan strike kills 12 Israelis, Israel attacks Khan Younis

As Israel’s war on Gaza continues, we're coming to you on Sundays with a weekly roundup. This week: Rockets killed 12 Israelis in the occupied Golan Heights. Residents of Khan Yunis were trapped under buildings as an Israeli offensive there continued. Israel again struck schools housing displaced Palestinians. It is day 296 of the war. At least 39,175 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed.
