Brief system-wide outage grounds American Airlines flights across the country

American Airlines flights are moving again after a system-wide outage left flights grounded. American says its systems have been restored and flights are once again taking off. The outage caused headaches across the country. The nationwide ground stop lasted for about 45 minutes. American apologized to customers for the inconvenience.
