Brighton at the Double. CFC & Non-League MDS

With Chelsea safely despatched from the FA Cup last weekend, attentions turned six days later to ridiculous 8pm kickoff part two and a Brighton breezy 3-0 ‘sweep aside’ of our dearly beloved London visitors! Winning that game meant one double was achieved for the Albion in the shape of back-to-back home wins against Chelsea, but it wasn’t the only double for Brighton at the weekend. That’s because the other club of note within the city of Brighton and Hove, Whitehawk, were in action the following day for the very tough visit to highflying Dover Athletic, but it was The Hawks who prevailed to make it a glorious double for Brighton’s teams with their surprising 0-2 win. Russ and Jack Albion made the trip down to the corner of Kent to see that fantastic win, taking the opportunity to review Albion’s battering of Chelsea down the pub before kickoff on Saturday.
