Why are we jumping? Well, because there's no song for leap year. This is leap year. So February had this week.
There's going to be an extra day in February. You all are gifted with an extra day. February 29. So why is there leap year?
Well, I had to research this because I had no idea. Because there are actually about 365 and a fourth days in a year. So we have to add an additional day every four years to make it come out right. That's right.
Or like in however years we have Christmas in July, literally. I already feel like we have it. The stores think we have it. So that's why we have it.
But there are a lot of people that are leap year baby. Basically they were born on February 29th in a leap year. And then they don't get their birthday very often. So what's the likelihood of that happening?
One in every 1,461 people. OK. And basically there are about five million people in the world that are leap day babies. They're called leaplings.
I think that's the key. They are leaplings. So let me take some famous leaplings. And Tony El Sabato Jr.
is a little actor. Ja Rule is a rapper. He's a leapling. And Peter Scannavino off of Law and Order SVU for all the bands he plays, Carisi.
He's a leapling. Well, you didn't name my favorite leaplings. Who's your favorite leapling? My husband, Josh.
Josh is a leapling? Yes, he was born on leap year in 1980. So this weekend he will either be 40 or 10. However, you want to get it.

I don't know if she knew she shared a birthday, which I'll rule either, but now she knows. So there's lots of celebrations that go on to celebrate leap day. And I think this is one you want to partake in. Yeah, I didn't know about this.
But apparently, like, there is a cruise, a carnival cruise that celebrates leap year babies. Josh, when you turn 11, I was like, you should have booked him. Oh, that was 40. No one.

I didn't know about that either. I don't know what they do. I don't know what they do. I'm going to look at this.

It's a real book. Mommy Where's My Birthday? But I can say, but I can say, you know, everybody else is having a birthday. But I don't get the real book.

Yes. Oh goodness. We've done like birthday cakes and had like happy eight and a half birthday. You know, like, we make it a lot of fun.
When he turned seven, 28 really. We had him a big surprise party at a local kid pizza place. And he had no idea about it. And everybody brought presents for like a seven year old kid.
He loved it. It was so fun. I'm glad he embraces it. And I mean, hopefully his parents read one of these books to him if they were out back then.
But just knowing that these books are available for support. There's even a city that's on the border of Texas in New Mexico that's called the Leapier Capital. They host like a big festival every year. We should go on.
I mean, there's a ton of stuff y'all could be doing. I bet like since he is a Leapier person, he would get treated like royalty. Yes. Y'all are not doing any of these things.
And you should be going. But it's called Anthony. Anthony, Texas, and Anthony New Mexico right there on the border. So make sure to check out that festival with your infinity.

I can understand that. But no, I didn't. So if you do have a child with a birthday beer, like you could do a fun little fun thing birthday party or go to the trampoline park and jump or leave. Oh, you put a physical activity in there too, aren't you?
The kids would love that. Yeah, they would like that. Y'all could take a family picture. Maybe I should do this on Josh's birthday.
Of the family members leaping in front of something fun. Oh my gosh. Go to a landmark in your town or somewhere close by and like everybody leaped at the same time. I could get some of those.
Oh gosh, she's getting excited. I'm like, I wish you could see me. I can get some of those balloon numbers and we can hold on and we can all be leaping. Oh, that would be so cute.

This is so you. They're going to look at you like you're crazy. But who cares? You got to do outfit out of it.
