Bringing Our Loved Ones to Jesus

Pastor Chris's sermon is a reflection on the Gospel of John, specifically chapter one, verses 40 to 51. Pastor Chris notes the excitement and enthusiasm that Andrew and Philip display in bringing their friends and loved ones to Jesus after they themselves have encountered him. When one truly encounters Jesus, it is impossible not to want to share that experience with others.  Pastor Chris acknowledges that it can be difficult to bring up the subject of faith with others, and that simply inviting someone to church may not be effective. Instead, he suggests focusing on building relationships with others and being open and honest about one's own faith. He also emphasizes the importance of prayer, and not giving up on the longing for others to know Jesus. Overall, the sermon encourages Christians to follow the example of Andrew and Philip in being enthusiastic and intentional about sharing their faith with others and not being discouraged by the challenges and difficulties that may arise in doing so.
