Brisbane tactical crime squad's preventative approach

A tactical crime squad in Brisbane's Upper Mount Gravatt has arrested over 1,300 people on more than 3,500 charges in the past 12 months through preventative policing strategies. The squad uses intelligence analysis, curfew checks, weapon detection under Jack's Law, high-visibility patrols and traffic operations to target high-risk offenders in crime hotspots.
