British Bumblebee losses
from Creating a buzz about health with Paula Carnell
As we approach Spring time, our gardens and meadows should be seeing the first queen bumblebees emerging. The large fluffy bees are what many of us imagine when we think of a bee. Sadly, the Bumble Conservation Trust's latest report is sharing that the past 12 months have been the worst on record for Bumblebee numbers across the UK. What can we do to help reverse this worrying trend? Paula shares some simple tips to help encourage Bumblebee queens to thrive and rear their broods in safety this summer. Please share this episode with your friends because we all need to work together to help to save the bees!
