Brittney Carbone, Art teacher and Epoxy resin artist

Brittney has been fortunate to do what she loves as a career. Since 2014, She has worked in the Greater Boston area as a middle school art teacher. As a Woburn native, it is quite special that Brittney gets to work in a neighboring town to where she grew up. After completing her masters, she yearned for something more. Brittney made plenty of artwork with her students but it wasn’t until her thesis work that she realized how much she missed being an artist and creating work for herself. She wanted to learn a new medium, and in her search she stumbled across epoxy resin. As a predominately two-dimensional artist, Brittney saw how epoxy resin has the capability beyond what she could create with paint and collage on a flat surface.
