Britton Norwood, New WBF Cruiserweight Champ

Rick talks with rising boxer, Britton “Great Britt” Norwood. Norwood won the WBF Cruiserweight Belt this past weekend in Las Vegas. This interview was conducted a day before the fight. The Mississippi native took a major step in his career as he came up off the canvas to score an eight round split decision win over prospect Alvin Varmall Jr. in a fight for the WBF International cruiserweight belt. This was a close fight. In a split decision, won over two of the judges by identical scores of 77-74. The third judge had the fight for Varmall by a score of 77-74. With the win, Norwood captured the WBF International cruiserweight belt and sees his record improve to 15-5-1, 10 KOs.
