Electric Cooperatives Are Installing Fiber. The host for this show is Guillermo Sabatier. More than 200 electric cooperatives have begun work or have already installed fiber optic cables or broadband infrastructure onto their facilities. This is possible in great part thanks to the new Farm Bill, Build Back Better and the 'Broadband for All' provisions in that bill. This is great news for remote or rural electricity consumers and their communities, but it opens the door to many more possibilities.
