I was thrilled to have a chat with Holger Petersen, "Canada's Ambassador for the Blues" and head of Edmonton's Stony Plain Records. They've just released a wonderful CD/DVD combo to celebrate 35(!) years as a label. This week's Vancouver Folk Music Festival preview included bands from Britain and Mali.
